This term our Inquiry unit is called ‘Spot the Difference’. We will be investigating what changes happen to food when we do things to it. So far, it has been LOTS of fun! We’ve discovered that some food changes when we heat it or cool it and that some things cannot be changed back to the way they were before. We noticed that cooked spaghetti was sticky, wiggly, breakable and many other things. We enjoyed working in teams to create spaghetti towers last week using only uncooked spaghetti and marsh mellows. We are all becoming fantastic scientists!
Do you know another food that changes when it is heated or cooled?
